How can companies and startups move beyond sustainability towards regenerative innovations that not only reduce negative impacts but actively restore ecosystems? This workshop will bring together experts, innovators, and business leaders to explore the key challenges and opportunities in regenerative design. Using the design thinking methodology, we will focus on the Empathize and Define phases to identify barriers and shape clear problem statements for future innovations.

Participants will gain practical insights into regenerative approaches through keynote talks from Assoc. Prof. Hájek (CZU) on the role of bioeconomy and a TAČR representative, who will present funding opportunities for research and innovation in this field.

Together, we will address key questions: What prevents Czech companies from adopting regenerative principles? Where are the biggest business opportunities? What specific challenges need to be addressed for regenerative innovations to become viable in practice?
