Opening ceremony of Climate Week Prague at Planetarium Prague

Opening Ceremony of Climate Week Prague 2026

Climate Week Prague 2026 opens with an extraordinary afternoon beneath the world’s largest LED dome at the newly renovated Planetarium Prague. Through immersive storytelling, thought-provoking conversations and leading voices from across Europe, the Opening Ceremony will launch a week dedicated to shaping a resilient and prosperous future.

Rather than approaching climate change as an isolated challenge, the event will explore our relationship with the Earth, with one another and with the systems we have created. It will ask how we navigate a century of profound environmental, technological and societal transformation — and what it means to redefine prosperity in a rapidly changing world.

Bringing together leaders from European institutions, science, business, culture, media and civil society, the programme will combine an original immersive audiovisual experience with conversations about climate, resilience, innovation, leadership and the values that will shape the decades ahead.

As the flagship gathering of Climate Week Prague 2026, the event will welcome senior decision-makers, partners, journalists and changemakers from across sectors, creating a unique space for reflection, dialogue and new collaborations.
