Made in Europe: Industrial Transformation and Clean Tech
As Europe navigates a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape, industrial policy is becoming a defining factor in its future competitiveness, resilience and prosperity. How can Europe strengthen its industrial base while accelerating the clean transition? And what role should public investment play in unlocking innovation and attracting private capital?
This session will bring together policymakers, industry representatives and investors to explore the future of European industrial strategy, clean technologies and decarbonisation. Discussions will examine how emerging EU policies and funding mechanisms can support industrial transformation, strengthen Europe's competitiveness and create a more predictable environment for investment.
Particular attention will be given to the opportunities and challenges facing Central and Eastern Europe, including the region's role in Europe's industrial future, policy coordination, and the balance between competitiveness, security and climate ambition.
Through a moderated discussion, participants will explore how Europe can build a resilient, innovative and globally competitive industrial economy while remaining on track towards its climate goals.
Format: closed-door roundtable | 90 minutes | max 30 attendees
