Organiser: Moodys Ratings
Closed-door roundtable at the CEE Sustainable Finance Summit - 14 September 2026
On the session:
The sustainable finance market is entering a new phase of maturity, shaped by evolving regulation, growing investor scrutiny, and an expanding universe of labelled instruments. How are issuers adapting their strategies to remain credible in a more demanding environment? What does the EU Green Bond Standard mean in practice for those preparing to come to market? And how are analytical frameworks evolving to keep pace with instruments that go beyond green, from social and sustainability-linked to transition and blue bonds?
This session will bring together the perspectives of a Second Party Opinion (SPO) provider, Moody's Ratings, and an issuer, CPIPG, to explore these questions through open discussion and practical insights. Drawing on CPIPG's issuer experience, including its recent EU Green Bond issuance, and Moody's Ratings' assessment approach across a broad range of labels, the conversation will unpack the day-to-day realities of framework design, transition strategy implementation, and the analytical considerations shaping the market, with a particular focus on the dynamics at play in the CEE region.
The workshop will be held in English.
