CONTENT OF THE EVENT
Focus on leadership, innovation, and systemic change – your event inspires and showcase practical, forward-thinking solutions that address sustainability and climate challenges, contributing to the green transition.
Align with climate and sustainability goals – participating organisations must demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and climate action. Events should promote practices that support transition or transformation, and a low-carbon future. Activities inconsistent with these goals (e.g., fossil fuel expansion) will not be included in the official programme.
Target the right audience – your events offers relevant and impactful content, engaging business leaders, policymakers, decision-makers, and the general public to educate, build awareness and inspire action.
Encourage collaboration and dialogue – events setup fosters partnership, learning, and action, avoiding greenwashing or overt political promotion.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR EVENTS
Acceptance of an event to be part of the Climate Week Prague is entirely at the organising committee’s discretion.
The submitted event proposal has to include all the mandatory details:
date and time,
suggested venue,
event title and description,
type of event (webinar, roundtable, panel discussion),
event audience and planned number of attendees,
whether the event is free of charge or ticketed,
the invited or confirmed speakers.
The minimum criteria that needs to be met for an event to be accepted, is as follows:
The planned/proposed event needs to focus on topics directly related to sustainability, environmental and/or climate challenges.
The event speakers cannot all be male and the event cannot be promoting fossil fuel extraction, heavily polluting activities, or pro-fossil fuel lobbying activities.
The event must take place in the Czech Republic within the May–June 2025 timeframe.
The event cannot include derogatory terms, hate speech, or promote or incite hatred or violence.
